Drive DeVilbiss Quiet 5L Home Oxygen Concentrator Description
The Ultra-Quiet Drive DeVilbiss 5 Liter is one of the newest additions of home oxygen concentrators. The home unit produces only 46 decibels of noise in an attractive, minimal design that's less intrusive in your home. While the design is modern, the 5-liter per minute concentrator features numerous internal components incorporated into the 303 and 515A Drive concentrators. These components are more than 70% factual, facilitating less maintenance and repairs. This space-saving stationary concentrator provides the highest performance, ease of operation, and safety.
Durability
DeVilbiss is a reliable producer of durable, high-quality concentrator models, and the DeVilbiss 525 is no exception. The Patented DeVilbiss Turn-Down Technology reduces wear-and-tear for internal parts while cutting down on the machine’s power usage by 15% or more. This lengthens the lifespan of this concentrator for long-term reliability.
A pressure relief valve is included in the design of this home concentrator. If the amount of oxygen dispensed by the machine is too high, this valve will release excess pressure to protect the machine’s internal parts for greater durability. To further prevent damage, the Drive 525 features a protected cannula fitting and a recessed humidifier nook. The humidifier nook keeps the cannula from catching on corners when the concentrator is moved throughout your home.
Safety
The Devilbiss Oxygen Sensing Device (OSD) is an advanced feature that’s standard on all Devilbiss devices. This device monitors the oxygen that the unit produces, protecting users’ safety throughout extended periods of use. A lockable flow meter is also included in the design of this home concentrator, allowing users to set the oxygen delivery rate as needed. With the flow meter, you can check the flow display for the volume of oxygen running through the tube and cannula.
The DeVilbiss 525 gives off audible alarms to warn the user in cases of high or low pressure, low flow, low oxygen, power fail, and oxygen purity with the Oxygen Sensing Device. No batteries are needed for these alarms to sound, which cuts down on the maintenance of this device for users.
