It comes with a best in class, 2-way stretch cover that reduces friction and shear, and is water resistant and vapor permeable, ensuring user comfort.
The Drive Medical Therapeutic Foam Mattress provides support and comfort; the nylon cover is durable, zippered, waterproof, and meets California Flame Retardant Standards. This Medicare coded Group I support surface is a mattress replacement, which will facilitate transfers more easily than overlays. The nylon cover reduces friction and shear. Better compliance and durability than innerspring mattresses allow for improved patient satisfaction and fewer service calls. Non-skid bottom keeps the mattress safely in place.
